Gas Prices Now Falling Below $2 A Gallon - How Much Is It In Your Area?
The sight of gas prices dropping below $2 a gallon Thursday morning had many Michigan motorists wondering if they've stepped into the Wayback Machine.

While prices continue to drop across the state, the city with the lowest of the low prices is Ypsilanti, where motorists saw a price of $1.94 per gallon.

Peter Mahan, manager of the Mobil station in Ypsilanti on Clark at Prospect, said he dropped gas prices to $1.99 a gallon after a 5:30 a.m. fuel survey showed his competition below $2 a gallon.

I have seen $1.95 a gallon for regular, $2.25 for premium. $3.05 for diesel in the DFW area.

Diesel is still ridiculously priced almost everywhere. Gas drops over a buck a gallon and D2 has barely budged. There's a station near me that still has D2 at $3.95, and the absolute lowest I've found (before discount cards) is about $3.30. And this is with RUG around $2.50 in the Seattle area.

So you needlessly pay a premium for a commodity?
