RENDERED SPECULATION: As GOOD As It Gets — Hands DOWN The BEST Next-Gen Audi R8 Renderings You'll SEE
In the automotive community there are awful renderings, decent renders and then there are mind-blowing, accurate and beautiful images. This is the latter.

A gentleman called Marco Van Overbeeke has created images of what he believes the next-gen Audi R8 will look like. Judging from the plethora of spy video and spy images I've seen, I am telling you these are undoubtedly the MOST accurate and BEST next-gen R8 renderings I've seen to date.

Frankly, I don't think they'll get better than this because these jive with the car that's been seen getting tested around Europe and on the Nürburgring.

Incorporated into this design is the more angular overall design — front grilles, headlights, taillights — and much larger air intakes located behind the B-Pillar. From all of the images I've seen, it's clear that Audi is making this the focal point of the vehicle's design.

As of now there's no way to tell if the all-new R8 will feature the "blades" that made the first-gen car's design unique. Van Overbeeke didn't incorporate them, which seems to be a good move.

Looks realistic. Based on what the Huracan can do the R8 should up its performance game a good amount.

Hmmm I think the R8 will loose a special element of its design in doing away with the blade. Just a different color for the scoop is an easy and lazy way out. Work it and make the blade new again.. Too late I know. BTW the CSL he has on his site is pretty cool too, could use a little more greenhouse area though. BMW should definitely do that again...

The side blades were pretty controversial at first but they worked out in the end. That Huracan render was super spot on.

Looks boring. Who is going to choose this over Lexus RC-F?

Well at least the ugly blade is gone, but it just looks like the current one minus the ugly blade which will be what it will look like. Audi = phoned in design language

NSX looks better...

As with most Audi redesigns/facelifts, this rendering loses some of the character of the original. Too bad.

Doesn't look as dynamic as the original. I do think the new blade fits in nicely with the new angular look. But the car as a whole doesn't look all that special anymore.

Double yawn.
