2016 Lexus CT Or Scion iM Caught Testing In Southern California - Take Your Best Guess On Which It Could Be

Our honorary spy at large Fred Khaz has stumbled on yet another prototype undergoing testing in Southern California.  How does this guy do it?

Escorted by a late model Lexus IS with Michigan plates, this prototype also with automaker plates might be the next Gen CT  or Scion iM concept undergoing  a shakedown run.

With looks bordering on that of a Hyundai/Kia or even an oddball VW this heavily clad vehicle will no doubt be hybrid powered and at this stage a 2106 model at best but for which automaker?

So the Spies hand it over to you to take your best guess on what this one could really be.

It's a Toyota Auris, which was previewed for the U.S. market as the Scion iM Concept.

Likely it will ship to the U.S. as a Scion product. Who knows if it will be as sporty as the concept or as down to Earth as the standard Auris, which is sold abroad.
