VIDEO: Audi's All-New Q7 Seen IN ACTION — This Clip MAY Change The Way YOU Look At The All-New Q
In the past week, the all-new 2016 Audi Q7 has had its coming out party. The car was fully unveiled and is set to be seen for the very first time at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS).

As you can imagine, we're excited to explore it out with our "microscopes" — camera lenses.

2016 Audi Q7

Before we get carried away though, it's been particularly interesting to see YOUR comments and thoughts on Audi's latest product. One BIG takeaway I noticed was that a good amount of you found its design a bit off-putting because the Q7 doesn't look like a sport-utility vehicle anymore. A lot of folks are seeing this as more of a wagon because it is SO low.

At first I didn't see that, but perhaps after YOU see the video clip below you'll start to understand just how low the all-new Q7 is.

That said, make sure to watch the ENTIRE clip. There's a lot of nifty little things that weren't conveyed through the plethora of glamour shots.

Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Brief teaser trailer for the new 2015 Audi Q7.

No Sale! Dowdy comes to mind. Why make a vehicle look station wagon low when the market is asking for vehicles that lets them sit high so they see out? This thing begs for the fake wood vinyl applied to its side.

wow, that is one ugly suv by Audi. Very Surprised as it looks worse in the video

I am not sure why, but it definitely looks MUCH different in the video.

Perhaps it's using an air suspension that's tuned for better aerodynamics?

The trailer is corny and ridiculous in every possible way. It looks even more WalMart white trash station wagon when its in motion.

Inside is great, but looks too much like a station wagon....

Boy, it sure has gotten away from the CUV/SUV look. I'm sure it's quite big in real life but the proportion is definitely station wagon like. And I love it for that exact reason.

It is a very handsome vehicle. I'm not sure that interlagos blue is the best color for it, but its a looker nonetheless.

Maybe that should be Audi's new slogan: "Audi...inaction in engineering."

All these people are hugely underestimating how awesome this new Q7 will drive. With a 717 pound weight drop, lower center of gravity, better engine placement and new MLB platform, the Q7 will be better to drive than ever before and will give the BMW X5 more than it can handle. The new agility combined with the state of the art technology and luxury will make for one awesome ride!

...and YOU are hugely misunderstanding how Audi's lineup (used to) work:

Q - SUVs
Avant - Station Wagons

This car should have been an Avant, not a Q.

@GermanNut

Already highlighted all this in another story.

It will definitely be interesting to see if people can get over its look and get behind the wheel. Hey, it worked for the Porsche Cayenne and Panamera.

The X5 and M series each already outsell the Q7 in North America by 2 to 1. This isn't going to close that gap.

Nope. If anything, it worsened my opinion in that it looks even more like a bloated station wagon than the original press pictures. There is zero presence on the road.

And, 00R, I don't think you can compare the Cayenne and Panamera to this new Q7. Yes, neither are perfectly aesthetic, but their shapes were still modern and had a definitive presence on the road. The Q7 is outright homely and "dowdy" as another poster stated, and it appears Audi took two steps backwards in their design theme, despite the fancy headlights.

Wow. I thought it was kind of neutral looking to me. After seeing the video; I think it's ugly.

Gotta agree with previous comments that is looks station-wagon-ish :-( Also, I'm not liking those headlights and tail-lights... but you'd kind of expect that from Audi, as they're always pushing the weirdness envelope there. I'm not liking the grill, either.

A definite vote for WORSE than the outgoing model, from me.

Let's see if they have different versions ie: Off Road, S-Line, Lux. Hopefully they will provide a version that has HIGHER ground clearance, so it can actually look like an SUV.

The new Volvo XC90 could actually slaughter this thing.
