#SDAUTOSHOW: FIRST Pics From The 2015 San Diego Auto Show Go LIVE! Happy New Year!

What a way to ring in the all-new year! We're kicking off the 2015 auto show season with a regional event held in Agent 001's hometown, San Diego.

Although it's pretty much unheard of for an automotive event to happen on a holiday, the organizers of the San Diego show certainly decided to go their own route. The press day was held today, starting at 5:30 a.m.! Must have made for a rough morning for some!

Even operating under such conditions — what a terrible life ;) — 001 made it down to the show this a.m. to capture the very best pics from the event. As it's a regional show there aren't any all-new debuts, however, it provides an opportunity to revisit and think about some of the vehicles that have been revealed as late as the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.

In addition, there are some pretty cool booths featuring things we haven't seen previously.

If there is an auto show more pointless than the LA auto show it's the San Diego one. It will be fun outing, but nothing significant will debut.

I did. And as I said: nothing significant. The ONLY purpose of an auto show is to see some taa daa debut. This is just San Diego trying to come up with an event. More power to them and great that people down there can see the cars without have to drive to LA to see the other pointless auto show.

San Diego has been very good to me in the past year.

Believe it or not, #sdautoshow gets more foot traffic from real customers than Detroit. It's a show for buyers, not for huge reveals.
