Mercedes S65 AMG Or Dodge Challenger Hellcat? Which Would You Rather Have In The Garage?

Mercedes S65 AMG Or Dodge Challenger Hellcat? Which Would You Rather Have In The Garage?
Depending on how you look at it, this next video will either be extremely entertaining or very depressing. Why? Because it's got two of the hottest cars in the world right now and you probably don't own any of them.

This is a muscle car rev battle unlike anything you've ever seen before: supercharger versus twin turbocharger, V8 vs V12, America versus Germany, SRT vs AMG Bud Light vs Beck's… you name it.

BY FAR the Hellcat.

I don't want to seen in a car designed for inner city pimps and drug dealers and / or low-level ballers and rappers. The Mercedes is to gaudy and blingy.

The Hellcat will be collectible and the Mercedes forgotten.

What an idiotic comment.

Lol Benzes1, I told you MDarringer is still upset about his girl leaving him for one of those Rappers/Ballers he goes on about all the time.

He's so intimidated by the way they carry themselves, and how many of them beat the odds stacked against them making more in a month than he does in 2 years, with formidable charitable organizations to boot.

Once he forgives the girl who left him for that lifestyle he will finally be able to go on with his miserable life and perhaps one day be able to afford one of the cars he talks about on this forum....

@MDarringer - I think you summed it up correctly if you have the vision to look 20 years down the road at auction. You can buy a S65 ANYTIME but you only have once to buy a first year Hellcat.

Lol MDarringer, don't worry Honey Boo Boo's mom, Mama June, is going through the same thing with her welfare baby daddy, Sugar Bear, perhaps the 2 of you could link up trailers and make it a double wide life yeeeeehaaaaw!

Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG = The Royal Family of Great Britain = Luxury, Class, Elitism and all the cool things that money can buy. Very European.

Challenger Hellcat = Justin Bieber & Kim Kardashian = No class, Posers, Uneducated. Very American.

BY FAR the S65.

The hellcat is really only going to give you some fun on some straight line, random track days which you probably won't normally do. The S65 is one of the most well appointed cars that has ever been made and the power to match.

At the end of the day, i'd rather have an ultra-luxurious daily driver with loads of power, vs another muscle car that is just focusing on more horsepower.

Germans literally cannot comprehend that a V8 should sound like an American V8 if you want the best sound.

The bottom line is that it is patently stupid to spend S65AMG money on a 4 door sedan.

My choice, Lexus RC-F.

Mercedes S65 AMG = Too elitist and I can't imagine how much it would cost to maintain. And too luxurious for my taste.

Hellcat = American garbage that will most likely fall apart within a few days, like the new Viper does. It looks like a joke, too. But if it costs around 20,000 dollars, then hell yes, I will choose this one. Sounds like a reasonable price then.

And yes, the majority of Americans will prob choose Mercedes S65 AMG. I mean, it's like you are comparing gold to crap. Mercedes S65 AMG stands for the absolute pinnacle of luxury and is one of the best status symbols that Europe can offer, when Hellcat stands for bankruptcy, Detroit and the American quality.

S65 AMG, without blinking. I live today and even if I could afford 4 Hellcats, I'd get the Benz. Cars are meant to be driven and driven a lot. Not purchased today and kept in a garage for 20 years hoping it fetches a great price at auction.

America vs. Germany? More like, a third world country that is trying hard to be a first world country (Americaaaaa!!! roflmao) vs. The True Economic Superpower that is Unrivaled (Classy. Mighty. And Powerful. Germany)

Matt, actually the Germans don't even like the Nazis, and you are basically saying any German person who is proud of their country = Nazi.

That's like saying, any American who is proud of their country = Neocon.

Use your brains, friend. And like I said before, I am not biased. I merely speak the truth. I mean, which country is rated the No. 1 nation by S&P, Fitch and Moody's? Germany (The U.S. is now down to second place, which is not a good sign). Which country is now the most respected nation in the entire world? Germany (U.S., down to second.)

Which country is right now trying hard to stay relevant? The United States. The reality is, without China, Japan and the European Union, the United States is just a third world country with too much debt.

But then again, Matt, you know all this. I am just saying, just so you know that I am not being biased but just trying to tell the truth, all for the sake of America.

I don't really f**king know!

The Hellcat's lower-pitched exhaust rumble is definitely the "biz". But it's crazy that the Challenger is basically the same size as the full-size S65 exterior. We forget that both vehicles have a similar wheelbase length - not many cars have a 120in wheelbase these days. Kinda makes you think that the Challenger/Charger could be smaller overall....ijs. If Chrysler were to stuff the Hellcat engine/trans into a modified 200 model, that would be outstanding.

If I had to choose, it would be S65 AMG everyday. The only thing that makes the Challenger SRT Hellcat ridiculous interesting is the engine/powertrain...and not much else.
