DRIVEN + VIDEO: Jay Leno Drives What May VERY WELL Be The Best All-New American Car, The 2015 Corvette Z06

When people are asked the very simple question of "what was the BEST American car," there doesn't seem to be a simple answer. I guess there are a lot of ways to slice and dice that question, but for me, it was always hard to not say the Cadillac CTS-V.

Equipped with over 550 horsepower, four doors and a shift-it-yourself gearbox, it was a hoot. And, if you ever had the chance to slap on snow tires, you'd realize it was perfectly fine — yes, even being rear-wheel drive — in the white stuff.

Now though we're confronted with the all-new Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Though it may not be as practical, it is capable of supercar performance without any of the SIGNIFICANT sacrifices.

Watched that vid last night. The Z06 is the shi... I'm getting scared I might be turning into a Vette guy. I even liked the color of the test car.
