CAR WARS! Street RACE Edition: 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat vs. 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

This year we've seen an impressive amount of power coming from the Detroit Three. In fact, the horsepower wars were taken to a completely new level with the likes of the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

Both of them are complete animals and they're not ashamed about it. I love that they're unapologetic.

While it may not matter to me, there are folks out there that need to know just how capable these vehicles are when it comes down to a street race. Though I definitely don't condone this type of behavior, we will show you the clip for the hell of it.

I guess you can equate it to being a muscle car thing since these cars originally appeared way back when.

wow ! that is very impressive, it wasnt from a standstill though, and that might change the outcome on which car gets the power down better, at speeds starting 40+mph i guess anything is possible with that much torque and hp from hellcat..
overall id still rather have the prettier and more exotic vette, but this hellcat is the real deal ...

It's fake, the numbers proven by car and driver tests prove that. If you notice the Vette never truly gets on it. The Vette in fact is four seconds faster 50-70 so this is not aapossible outcome. It was staged. Added to the fact there's only 57 hp difference but the dodge is nearly 1000 lbs heavier the sheer physics don't work here. Not trying to knock the dodge I'm actually very impressed with the car I just don't like phony things like this. Not to mention the random chance of a hellcat driving along with a gocam on the roof coming across a Z06 on an open highway is slim. But oh well..
