#NAIAS: TEASED! Will Jaguar's MOST Anticipated — And NEEDED — Model, The F-Pace, Debut In Detroit?
I remember seeing the Jaguar CX17 make its first appearance at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Painted a bold blue, it was a very, very striking design. And then we saw the interior and our heads nearly blew up.
It was fantastic.

One thing I noticed though was how the rear taillights emulated the then new F-Type. It caught my eye and I though "Hmm, perhaps the company is just going to carryover some elements seeing as that car's design is nearly perfect."
Turns out Jaguar Land Rover has a bigger plan. According to the latest reports, the CX17 concept will actually be called the F-Pace. Obviously, that means the CX17 sport-utility vehicle is essentially an F-Type crossover.
It's definitely a gnarly idea but how will it be executed? Maybe I'll find out at tonight's JLR executive briefing...

Clusterflucked name for a much needed product. This is a PR stumble. The the main office in India choose the moronic name?

Wait...why is it a clusterfuck?
The F-Type is probably the most well-known Jag in recent memory. Why not ride the wave?

Its not going to shake up the segment in anyway. Jag lovers will like it and once they have been satisfied... then what?
