#NAIAS: The Devil Is In The Details - Did The Slick New Cross Coupe GTE Crossover Live Up To Your Expectations On The INSIDE?
Volkswagen pulled out all of the stops with their new Cross Coupe GTE  5 seater.  You can pretty much be assured that the sleek new look will also grace the upcoming 7 seat SUV in the work right now.

But as Audi has proven over the years, the INTERIOR must also exceed the expectations of the owner as well.  After all you spend more time inside the car than outside, so it has to look good, feel good, and work well for you.

Now keep in mind the Cross Coupe GTE is a concept, but it doesn’t take much to see that a lot of the interior design queues could follow over to production in the near future.

What would you keep and what would you drop when the 7 seat version hits the market?

Volkswagen continues to misunderstand what American families want from their family SUV.

If they want a Mercedes, they buy a Mercedes.

Volkswagen, meanwhile, is supposed to be the "people's car".

Jesus, when is VW's identity crisis going to END?

A concepty interior but given what the new Passat has if the this gets a European VW type interior it will be fine. The competition in this segment (and some will be updated by the time VW is in the game) has pretty nice interiors so VW isn't overreaching.

So VW is building a Ford Edge? Welcome to 2005, VW!

To recap: NO ONE TAKES VW SERIOUSLY.

The Touareg is a bad SUV and an even worse crossover. The Jeep Grand Cherokee and Toyota 4Runner eat it alive in every way, are 20 grand less expensive, and give far better reliability/durability.

The Tiguan does not know the meaning of being competitive.

The CrossBlue is still TWO YEARS from the showroom. [It's scheduled for first quarter 2017].

So now we have this concept which VW has shown as a concept before!

This looks better than the Audi Q7. I hope they do the concept justice and translate this into a great production model.
