#NAIAS: 001 Goes On A TEAR And DETAILS The All-New 2016 Nissan Titan For YOU!
Before we even landed in Motor City for the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), we were teased by Nissan about its all-new Titan pick-up truck. Not only did it create a couple of short videos, it also managed to distribute "spy" shots of the all-new Titan all camouflaged up.

Well, now we've finally seen the real deal and we have to say it is one monumental effort by Nissan.

Instead of me rambling on here for a bit, I am just going to cut right to the chase and get you in front of the pictures 001 snapped on the show floor. The reality is that no matter what I say about the 2016 Titan, you'll have to see it to properly understand.

It's a much stronger full-size pick-up truck from Nissan than what you may be used to. There may just be one problem. The 2015 Ford F-150 exists.

That said, take a look below and judge for ye selves.

This car kind of looks like, Japan is trying to take over America.

Oh wait, it already did.

Nissan has a shot to make a bit of noise if the diesel isn't priced at a huge premium like it is on the HD versions.

Well the fender vent looks ghetto to me does not add anything to the looks. Otherwise is looks like the other trucks on the market.
Will it have an 8 ft bed is my first real question this is a key to getting the truck in the hands of the working man/woman a full sheet of plywood or drywall needs to fit inside the bed with the tailgate closed. Anything else and it's just a toy

Fender vents are very passe unless they're functional. Otherwise, it seems that Nissan has looked at the GM, Ford, Toyota competition...took notes heavily...and has done their best to copy a lot of the design characteristics found on/in the other full-size pickups.

Reminder me....did Nissan partner with Chrysler to use the Ram truck platform for the new Titan? If so, it probably why much of the exterior/interior seems a bit "familiar". They should have partnered with Cummins for a locally-sourced diesel engine years ago.

I see quite a few elements in the front-end design that will probably be carried to the next Armada & QX80 unfortunately. I do like that the truck doesn't have that "narrow" look that the past versions had. Overall, the design is clean, simple and should be familiar for anyone whose owned a big truck in the last 10 years.
