By this point, there's good chance that you're getting a wee bit tired of our coverage on the all-new Ford GT. Well, you're going to have to suck it up because we aren't through just yet.

That's because we've got some great audio clips that showcase how the motor sounds.

The general consensus was that a six-cylinder GT just won't have a great sound. I have to admit it's a fair point, but considering some of the amazing tuning I've heard done to sixes, I wouldn't be OVERLY concerned. That's also because I like sixes over eights.

But, given the heritage of the GT and its V8-powered lineage, I can see why people are a bit bummed.

All that said though, take a listen to the clip below and click "Read Article" to hear another one via Instagram. THEN, please fill in the gap in our headline.

Wow. Sounds pretty terrible for a V6 engine. Did they put down some diesel pick up truck engine in it?

Now, let's hear the good V6 engine by Nissan's GT-R.

Sounds pretty violent. And very powerful.

And the new NSX's V6 engine.

Sounds smooth, and very polished.

I mean, we already know Ford (basically any American company) can never compete with the Europeans in terms of performance cars, but really? Shouldn't they at least make the dang thing sound as good as GT-R or the NSX of Japan, or better?

Different strokes for different folks.

But, the reality is the NSX engine sounds weak as hell. The GT-R is bland city.

Those videos don't do any of the cars (GTR, NSX or GT) any favors. But I agree that the gentle reving of the NSX didn't get me excited at all. We didn't hear the GT scream so no way to compare it to the GTR.
