#NAIAS: CAR WARS! Ford F-150 Raptor vs. RAM Rebel — Which HARDCORE Pick-Up Truck Gets YOUR Vote?
Although the Ford F-150 Raptor was the pick-up truck that really popularized that badass look with actual performance to back it up, it's no long by itself in the pick-up category. Nope. Now it's joined by the all-new RAM Rebel, which made its primetime debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS).
You know what that means, right? It's time for a "Car Wars!" story.

My money is on the Ford. Even before the Aluminum thing Ford is nearly race ready out the showroom door as well as a capable daily driver. Even with styling input from Fiat Dodge has years to catch up just on the chassis alone. Some real world comparisons of production units will probably be embarrassing for Dodge.

The Raptor has way more go than just show, the Rebel is more show than go. The Rebel front would be so much better if the RAM logo was bracketed by two straight lines up front but that would be to close to what the current Raptor has so Dodge had to go with this unfortunate design.

Raptor by far. The Rebel is a pathetic stop gap. The hideous hard, black plastic grille is an atrocity.
