Restyled Audi A4 Ready To Steal Away 3 Series Customers - Debut This September
As Audi looks to steal away some BMW 3 Series buyers from its German nemesis, the four rings is continuing work on the new A4, which has been spied here cold weather testing. As we’ve said before, the styling is evolutionary, with a longer wheelbase and shorter overhangs for improved cabin space. The grille will mimic that of the TT’s, the rear lights will be thinner and the side mirrors now sit on the door blade instead of the windows.

Let's hope is doesn't share any of the bold and radical design of the new Q7 allroads.

It's going to look like a longer A3.

Audi has some big changes up its sleeve for this new A4 dynamics and technology-wise.

That would only be true if they went RWD. This will be yet another VWAG OLDsmobile that looks 100% like the old car despite being completely new.

Squintier headlights. Slantier taillights. Same old same old since the last update that looked the same as the outgoing model. And this is coming from someone who has had 9 Audis and currently drive an A4 Avant. Even I'm sick of Audi's same old shit year after year after year after year . . .

Like or hate the new Audi Q7, but there is no denying that it's styling was a radical departure from the current model. Expect similar radically different styling for the new A4.

Audi was not kidding when it said it will introduce a new design strategy and increased differentiation between models. The new Q7 makes that apparent and the A4 will as expected follow suit.

GermanNut - whatcha smokin? there is nothing radical about the Q7 or the upcoming A4. We've all heard here and other places these two products had slipped their introduction date because their designs needed tweaking. What kind of chaos is reigning in the Audi studio? Not saying they are bad design, but certainly nothing progressive about their evolution. We're promised the A6,7,8 will follow the Prologue themes, perhaps that will introduce coherent evolution; although not holding MY breath. Audi is so slow at new product introduction as well as creative design evolution it appears as though the Audi design team looks to inspiration from speculative illustrator's renderings of Audi's future products. All terribly predictable.

I have not been able to tell one A4 generation from another since about 2001. I saw an A6 a few days ago, but it might have been an A4 rebadged because its the same exact car. The A7 is the only distinctive Audi with its ugly droopy azz.

The A4 is not hitting the states for over a year. Spring 2016
should be a nice car/
