001 Takes YOU To Another WORLD For The Launch Of The All-New, 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport
Have you been to Iceland? Neither have I.

Our trusty colleague, Agent 001, has now though. That's because he spent this week in Iceland with Land Rover to launch the all-new, 2015 Discovery Sport. As the brand's entry-level offering that replaces the Freelander, the Discovery Sport is entering the very competitive small luxury sport-utility vehicle space.

2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport

Although the Freelander has been around for quite some time, it just seemed to be an also ran, especially in the latter years of its life. The Discovery Sport aims to change that by going up against the likes of the Audi, BMW, Lexus, and Mercedes-Benz with Jaguar Land Rover's latest design language and technology.

Considering Land Rover has been producing a stream of runaway hits, starting with the Evoque, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, we're thinking that its success will be continued thanks to this offering. As far as we can tell, there's been an avalanche of interest in the Discovery Sport among the Spies.

That said, check out 001's FULL collection of snaps from Iceland and learn more about the latest Land Rover.

I guarantee no one captured this experience quite like we did.

Really nice 001, you really capture a good bit of the feel of the places you go as well as some nice pictures of the new Discovery Sport. I think JLR are really coming on strong with a nice alternative to the Germans in almost every segment except the hot hatches/mini cars. If Cadillac can keep the momentum up it makes for a far more interesting car world. Now we just need Japan to get back in gear, they seem to be stumbling a bit lately. Thanx again for the great photos!

It's the crossover from Land Rover, obviously with way more off road capability than your average crossover. Hopefully. They did some work on the interior to get it down to its 37k pricepoint. The Land Rover/Range Rover lineup is getting complicated especially if the Discovery is supposed to spawn a couple of other variants.
