VIDEO: Haven't Gotten ENOUGH Of The All-New Ford GT? Learn MORE About Its Design HERE!
At the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), Ford unveiled the mostly unexpected GT supercar. Of course this vehicle has a lot of meaning to many different types of enthusiasts, but the GT legacy is best known for winning Le Mans about 50 years ago.
That's what this all-new GT is here to celebrate. But unlike the last go around, it won't be a modern rehash of the original.
This GT is going to be more forward thinking and even employ a six-cylinder motor good for more than 600 horsepower.
In addition, it was also announced as the cover car for a videogame, Forza Motorsport 6. In relation to that news, a video was shot with the people who made the GT happen to give you a better idea about the latest American supercar set to start production in 2016.

If a version of that became the face of the 2017 Fusion redo, that would be a fitting replacement to the Aston Martin grille.
