Audi To Break From Tradition By Giving TT Styling To New A4

The all-new Audi A4 has been spied for the very first time, testing ahead of its long-awaited reveal in autumn 2015 and our exclusive pics show how the finished car could look.

It’s clear from the outlines of the lights, shutlines and styling creases on the spy shots that Audi is sticking with the policy that’s served parent brand VW so well with the latest Golf: merely sharpen the design, and save the real revolutions for the platform and mechanicals.

and plan on disappointing Germannut and all of us like you did with the Q7...I can assure you, you can kiss your plans for world domination goodbye

What break from tradition? The TT has the same generic face as every other Audi.

Even for artist conception it's boring.

Again, let's wait for the real car shown by Audi directly instead of some photoshops and rumors.

You people can criticize the new Q7 all you want, but there is no doubting its interior quality, technology, and now driving experience.

HA! Another "rile the troops" headline. More accurately, the "A4 continues common graphics following the 2016 TT." Yawn, even the R8 is taking the safe, at the risk of being boring, route. So now we wait for something influenced by the Prologue - - hopefully whatever it is does not share the Prologue's nasty Lincoln MKT looking rear decklid.

In all seriousness, where's the R&D money going to at Audi?

The A4 now looks like a Hyundai Santa Fe.

It's called weight reduction, improved driving dynamics, more advanced technology and even more luxurious interiors.

-GermanNut, but wait - approx. 6-8 months ago you stated that Audi was spending billions on styling that catch up/beat BMW/Benz.....

You can't argue that the styling of the new Q7 is a huge departure from the current version. Whether you like it or not is a different story, but you can't say that the new Q7 looks very similar to the existing Q7.
