#CAS15: RAM Breaks Out The BIG Guns For The Truck Show — Flagship Laramie Limited Set To Take On The F-150 Platinum

It's no surprise at the year's biggest truck show that one of the top three truck builders decided to go unleash its biggest weapon. That would be Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' (FCA) RAM division.

For the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, the company decided to unveil the all-new flagship model, the Laramie Limited.

Some of you may be saying "So, what?" Well, this is a big deal for two reasons:

1) The Ford F-150, specifically the higher-end models like the King Ranch and Platinum, have been selling very well; and,
2) It's been seen recently that luxury-oriented pick-up trucks are selling, overall, very well.

RAM needed to get its latest response to the market as soon as possible.

At the time of this writing no official information had been release via FCA's media site; however, if you take a look through the photos below, you'll quickly realize this isn't your ordinary pick-up truck.

Check out the premium level trims and attention to detail with the embroidery. Pretty impressive stuff, indeed.

Good for them. It will sell well. I think the interior is nicer than the new F150. Hope it has upgraded headlights, which iare so important, especially in a truck.

Wow, that stupid looking grill. And that "RAM" on the back....what the hell is this?

Fiat really knows how to ruin the American looks. They ruined Charger, Jeep models and now this.

As usaul in Detroit, the first version is the best. This Ram has been screwed up by the dolt designers that resulted in a cartoon like truck appearance.

One thing I love about Pick ups is all the bling. AMerican cars used to have tons of chrome on them and Pick ups are the only vehicles that really still tack on the chrome. I love it.. .that said that grille is just plain stupid. I hope that is an option or there are other optional inserts... the Ram Pickup has been a style leader for what 20 yrs, since the first "big rig" design... this is just dumb....

I perfer the actual Ram logo than the words yelling at you. Why does it have to have "RAM" at the back like that? It's already a popular truck. The grille doesn't agree with the headlights. Tacky.
