#CAS15: Honda Previews The Next Gen Ridgeline - Is THIS What It Takes To Succeed In The Midsized Truck Sector?
Honda gave us a glimpse of the future today at the Chicago Auto Show with a rendering of the upcoming Ridgeline pickup.  If this sketch is any indication then the designers this time around might have banished the ugly stick in favor of a more modern and handsome design.

But is that all is is going to take>  We do know the Ridgeline is moving upscale into the more lucrative luxury sector that the American three have long dominated.  But will this Ridgeline be more of a truck or an open bed crossover?

What does Honda need to do to ensure success in one of the most profitable sectors?

Looks like they are getting rid of the unibody design.

The drawing makes it look only slightly less stupid than before. The unibody was NOT the issue. The dumb@$$ styling was. A V8 would have been nice too.

While you can't tell much there doesn't seem to be anything worth looking at. No Unibody, okay but it's got the same short bed same 4 door cab most likely will not have a power plant to work in the real truck world.
If you like Hondas this will be as close as you will get to a Pick up. but don't plan to haul and sheets of plywood and 2x4s home
