VIDEO: What's MORE American Than HOT BABES, A RAM And Washington Crossing The Delaware?

I never thought this juxtaposition would come to fruition, but it has! As a history buff, I feel a certain obligation to bring it to you.

Right.

In lieu of President's Day, which happens tomorrow, it seems our friends at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) teamed up with the Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit team to recreate Washington Crossing the Delaware. It's just a wee bit different this time around.

That's because a RAM is the tow vehicle and there are some seriously gorgeous women "steering" the vessel.

Now if only my history classes would have been this interesting in high school, perhaps I would have learned a thing or two...


Many stories and lessons of the American Revolution have been preserved, but few have captured the spirit that remains the zeitgeist of American guts and glory more succinctly than Emanuel Leutze's painting "Washington Crossing the Delaware." And oh, what a beautiful thing to celebrate.
