VIDEO: Lexus RC F Gets Run Through The Paces But How Does It Stack Up Against The Germans?
With a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 making 467 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque and the ability to sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, the Lexus RC F is certainly a force to be reckoned with, whether driven on road or on track. But can it live with the cars it was designed to cross swords with? Chris Harris is the latest to get behind the wheel, having been invited to do a few hot laps around New York’s Monticello circuit before taking it for a spin on surrounding roads.

Sounds about right.

sounds about right to me. I personally like the styling of the RCF, but at this point, I prefer the M4.

Really nice balanced review… let's see if Lexus continue to work this car, make it better over time. Nice street car… I like Chris Harris reviews too, not quite at the Tiff Needle level of enthusiasm but fun none the less… Kind of off topic but Tiff really convinced me the E39 M5 was the car to get with his review of that… if you have not watched it you should… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6JmX8A8lck

The front end of Lexless is laughable. How can anyone take it seriously?

I can. We have customers on a waiting list with deposits in hand for the RCF.

I don't doubt that you have customer waiting. As much hype as the RC-F has received, it would be more of a surprise if you didn't have customers waiting. Have they actually test-driven one, yet? Neither dealer here has had one, yet for a drive.

The same way people did when audi changed theirs.

Who cares about the Germans? The RCF is new and different versus the Germans who are doing same-old-same-old. I'll take the Lexus not just because it's brash and bold, because it is much more reliable and durable.

Here in JAX they have a couple (RCFs) sitting on the lot. As for the RC350, I don't think they are moving them as quickly as they would want. They have a lease deal for $3500 down, $429 a month.

In the flesh this car is very good looking and I think better than the m4 but both have similar design cues.

It is a very small car inside. More similar to the BMW M235i rather than the M4. Although it wont fair any better against the M235i. Esepecially when the M2 arrives later this year
