LEAKED! IF This Is The FIRST Shot Of The 2016 Audi A4, Would You Give It A Thumbs UP or DOWN?
At Audi, the company has repeatedly told us that its new era of design will be shepherded in by the likes of the all-new Q7 sport-utility vehicle and A4 sedan. In fact, from what we understand, the company actually scrapped some designs because they didn't cut the mustard.

Obviously, we're expecting BIG things. And while the Q7's improvements sound pretty good on paper — less weight, more technology, nicer packaging — its design didn't move us. We actually liked the Volvo XC90 better.

Perhaps the A4 will be more cutting edge as was originally promised?

Well, if this "brochure scan" is any indicator, I'd say do not hold your breath. Although we cannot verify its authenticity at this point, if this is the real deal, it looks like a larger scale A3. Granted, we are just seeing a rear three-quarter shot.

That said, what say YOU? IF this is the real, next-gen Audi A4 would YOU give it a thumbs UP or DOWN?

This is supposed to be a scan from the official brochure.

So the perspective is kind of messed up anyway.

I'm not convinced.

I'm a huge Audi fan, but hopefully this is not it. Everybody's entire line-up looks the same now out of Germany's big 3. I will have to say the verdict is still out...

What is everyone talking about? You mean to tell me you can't see the all new ground breaking, bold, aggressive design language that is going to set the industry on fire which Germannut has been talking about since this time last year????

You mean to tell me you can't tell from this pic that Audi's decision to delay the A4 was totally worth it!

Look at that thing, it's the first time I've seen a car designed like that since....well...since the current A4 debuted....

I don't mind cars looking similar within a brand. What I do mind is when cars within the brand haven't truly fundamentally changed in design approach for decades.

Meet the new A4 completely indistinguishable from the old A4 and the one before it and the one before it and...

I can't really tell much from this picture but seems like mild evolution not revolution. Audi will surely play it safe with such a big seller though.

This new A4 is a bit grainer and blurrier than the current one, but other than that I can't really see a difference worth noting.

What is 'different' or 'new' other than the year number?

Even I couldn't tell the difference between 09',10', 11', 12', 13', 14', and 15'm model year and I know car designs. Don't believe me? 2008 Mazda Tribute and 2008 Honda Ridgeline hint headlights.

Once again people are jumping to conclusions without seeing the official pictures released by Audi itself.

I agree, we may be jumping the gun...but remember...the Renderings looked better than what Audi themselves came out with

Just because the Q7 renderings looked better than the actual production vehicle to some people doesn't mean the same will happen for the upcoming A4.
