The Luxury SUV That Saved A Brand, The Freshened Up 2015 Porsche Cayenne, DETAILED Inside And Out By Agent 001
Although a lot of Porschephiles hate to admit it, or don't admit it at all, if it wasn't for the Cayenne there most likely would NOT be a 911. The boost in sales the Cayenne provided for the iconic German manufacturer saved a company that was essentially on the brink of financial collapse.

Drive through any suburban paradise and you'll be likely to note the presence of these German SUVs being driven by family men or soccer moms carting their tikes around town. It's great. Rather than hate your life in a minivan you can have the Porsche experience on the way to the office, in an awful snow storm or simply getting the kids to school.

With the second-gen Cayenne's space getting MUCH more competitive though, the company made sure to get a refresh in. This included dropping the V8 motor for the twin-turbo six-cylinder engine also found in the Panamera S, as well as some cosmetic visual updates. You know, the front/rear clips as well as updated headlights, taillights.

In addition, the interior receives the new Porsche steering wheel and minor updates elsewhere around the cabin.

This past week our very own Agent 001 was on hand for the latest Cayenne driving event in his hometown, San Diego. Unlike our competition, 001 made sure to snap away and capture all the 2015 Cayenne has to offer.

Scope out the very best shots of the refreshed Cayenne, below!

As SUVs go, it's a head turner. I prefer the Audi Q5's interior, but the Porsche still looks really good.

At least it has round pipes.

So. Many. Buttons.

Does Porsche do an update on every model every year? That's not a bad thing, but it just feels like every time I turn around, a Porsche is coming out with an "updated" model.

Like the interior. Is this the Kardashian version because its butt is huge! :-)

This car drives like a dream. However, the interior is a mess and not not ergonomic at all. All those buttons are distracting and the navigation is not intuitive. Still anyone who buys this car buy it for the performance and looks. This is not your typical soccer mom/baby transport vehicle.
