Apple has asked for more time before responding to a lawsuit from A123 Systems, claiming a potential resolution of the matter is being discussed by both parties.

It follows a lawsuit pushed by A123 Systems claiming several key engineers were poached by Apple, in an “aggressive campaign” by the iPhone maker to perform testing and develop new systems for an electric car project.

Apple is desperate. Now that Steve Jobs is gone, all that Apple can come up with is just a bunch of same garbage every year and now they are making this smart watch that no one really needs nor cares.

And Apple just has no choice but to make cars now. I mean, what can they do? Otherwise eventually people will go and say "Apple is all the same every year" and will be forgotten into history. I mean, iPad sales are now down as far as I know, because well? People are now tired of the overpriced tablet with same design.

Lancer summed it up pretty well. I will say that apple might be suffering from a creativity standpoint since Steve Jobs passed away but Time Cook has done a better than decent job in growing market share and profitability.
