Purported next gen 2016 Hyundai Elantra with revolutionary styling leaked
The Korean web claim that the car here is the next generation 2016 Hyundai Elantra/2016 Hyundai Avante (codename - Hyundai AD), which going by a recent report, will be unveiled at the carmaker's home market next month. Based on a new platform, the 2016 Elantra is expected to grace Hyundai showrooms in Korea during mid-2015.

As the image shows, designers have opted for a revolutionary styling, with strong resemblance to the Hyundai i40 facelift which was revealed in December 2014, though there is enough to suggest that the cars are different.

A large trapezoidal grille with equally large airdams and vertical LED daytime running lights give the new Elantra a mature look, over the 'swoopy' current generation fluidic model. It is likely to have been designed at the Hyundai Motor European design center in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

Looks legit but the grille is too big for the car.

Glad to see the smiley gone even if it looks too much like an Audi knockoff. If the overdone swoopy lines are cleaned up it may be worth consideration.

They insist to copy or better say stole the Audi grille and also BMW wannabe headlights. Why are they using fired designer from Audi if they don't create anything , they just copy and paste from originals brands.

Revolutionary? It looks like all their discount German designer did was steal the headlights off a BMW and bumper off a Lexus and glued them on a Corolla.

Hyundai really doesn't care what the guy steals as long as "German" is associated with their car.
