Mini Green Lights Superleggera Concept For Production

Really good news for Mini fans and sports car fans. Even the hybrid drive train sounds like something I was hoping for. I like the new strategy too. Don't try to fill every niche but in the ones you do play in, make a significant vehicle, not just something you hack up to try and fill the niche.

I don't know how to feel about this... I imagine with the new platform and motors from the Hardtop and some other new innovations (I hope it's not just the Hardtop in another shape) that this will be a riot to drive. Ideally I would love to see this go rear wheel drive or perhaps a setup like the i8 with a gas motor that powers or charges some additional batteries. Why not, let loose a little MINI!
