BBC May Have Tagged Stephen Fry To Replace Jeremy Clarkson - Will Top Gear Ever Be the Same?

So the Daily Star is reporting that Stephen Fry could replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear “according to reports.” Nevermind the bollocks, let’s analyze the possibility of this game of BBC musical chairs.

First of all, the 57-year-old actor, comedian, writer, TV presenter and activist struggled to keep his homosexuality a secret in the past, especially during his teenage years. Great Britain has been and still is tolerant to homosexuality, compared to the rest of the world, so that’s no problem for Fry or the BBC.

Truth be told, Stephen Fry is one of the most talented media personalities from the United Kingdom, so all things are looking to back up Daily Star’s reports regarding the replacement.

Do you feel your little life is now morally superior because you bullied Clarkson?

Good riddance! Can't understand all of the fuss & fanfare over this dull, dry show and it's pompous, overbearing co-host Jeremy Clarkson anyway.

This dull, dry show and it's pompous overbearing co-host make the BBC millions and millions of dollars. It is also broadcast all over the world. So yes there is a bit of a fuss fanfare as it's the most entertaining car show on television. However if Stephen Fry is brought in James and Richard will quit the show. So essentially it will have an all new cast. I don't know how well it will go down with fans. I'm guessing not well at all. The BBC is going to lose their shirt in income.

Please, spare me the long winded soliloquy! Despite Top Gear's accolades, the show still sucks!

STUPIDLY DUMB MOVE!

Simon Cowell could make it work.

A YOUNG co-host would make sense if they replace the cash cow. Lewis Hamilton would be a brilliant move if they replace the cash cow.

Darringer-Doubtful either Hamilton or Cowell could fit it into their schedules. Assuming Cowell could do it they would have redo the show into "The Drive Off" or "X-Car" or "CAR Idol"

I'm surprised Darringer didn't recommend Putin and his new sidekick, Kim Jong Un.

leej-You might just be onto something. They could have a segment where a Russian tank tries to set a time around the Top Gear test track while at the same time somebody tries to stop it with an RPG. Then you could have a missile lunch and the rocket falls onto a Lada.
