#NYIAS: SPIED! The New Facade Of The Mitsubishi Outlander Gets EXPOSED Before Its BIG Debut
You know, it's hard to beat up on a company like Mitsubishi knowing that the Japanese outfit is so close to calling it quits; however, when it's delivering products that look like this, it's almost too easy. Leaked before the 2015 New York Auto Show (NYIAS), the newly refreshed Mitsubishi Outlander has been outed.

Thanks to our friends at Indian Autos Blog, we're seeing it for the very first time. Said to have been snapped at a Japanese port and posted to another website, Livedoor, this photo appears to show the real deal.

Looking like a mixture of Kia and Honda styling elements, the newly refreshed Outlander boasts an aggressively large front grille as well as a lot of chrome.

While we've seen such bold styling choices from the likes of Audi and Toyota, the execution doesn't appear to work in Mitsubishi's case. Well, at least at the first glance seen here.

We'll see on April 2 when it makes its debut in the Big Apple.

So sad. Mitsubishi used to be a great brand when they had a full line of products in the 90's that actually looked nice, like the Diamante, Montero and 3000GT.

My sister-in-law just bought the current Outlander (I have no idea why - she didn't ask my opinion first) and it is beyond terrible. The new one would have to outclass the competition in every way (even more so than what Hyundai has done in recent years) for people to even consider it. I highly doubt Mitsubishi has the funds or ability to make this happen.

I saw a Montero Sport the other day and almost shed a tear. That SUV was really nicely styled and pretty-well executed.

Seriously, who cares about the M Outlander and Mitshubishi for that matter?

No one is going to bring up the Lexus grille huh? If it was Korean that's what would have been said.
