RUMOR: Lights Out! Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson Is In The Crosshairs And The BBC Is Locked And Loaded
Say it isn't so!

According to the latest reports coming to us from across the pond, Jeremy Clarkson will be fired in an announcement to be made on Wednesday by the BBC. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise to many gear heads who have been closely following the latest developments as the main star of Top Gear was suspended earlier in March for what was called a "fracas" during production. The remaining episodes from the currently airing series were cancelled and production halted.

After an investigation, it is being reported that Clarkson was irritated after a long day's work to find out that there would not be any hot food being served. Clarkson then verbally abused a junior member of the production staff for 20 minutes, which was then followed by a physical attack lasting approximately 30 seconds.

So, now what? Well, the latest word on the street has targeted Chris Evans as filling in Jezza's spot but given that Richard Hammond and James May were still in negotiations, this will get VERY interesting. Hammond and May have stated they would not go on without Clarkson previously.

In addition, rumors are swirling that Clarkson could take his talent to other networks in the U.K. or even possibly Netflix.

Good riddance to Top Gear as we know it. It won't be the same and there is no guarantee that May and Hammond will stay on without Jeremy.

On account of Clarkson's diet and alcoholism, would anyone have expected him to live through the final season anyway?

Clarkson has been brilliant. What many are not getting is that this show is now an institution much like Saturday Night Live. It may not be the original 3 any longer but as long as there is talent, the show will survive and prosper.
