DRIVEN + VIDEO: Has The All-New Lamborghini Huracan LEAP FROGGED Ferrari?
If you want to get into a philosophical argument, just head into your favorite Ferrari or Lamborghini forum. Then ask the dreaded question: "Who's better? Ferrari or Lamborghini?"

You'll receive an endless list of rationale with many of them centered around performance figures, statistics and differences measuring fractions of seconds. To me, I find it pathetic that people waste time geeking out over these mostly useless metrics but it is what it is, unfortunately.

When Mr. Lamborghini decided to go from the tractor business into the auto business it was because he was pissed at Ferrari after being brushed off by Enzo. Simply put, he decided from the outset that he could — and would — out do the company.

Personally, I'd argue that Lamborghini has ridden alongside Ferrari's best efforts since inception. This time around though that may not be the case. To see what I mean, check out the FULL clip below and weigh in.

On this episode of Ignition, presented by Tire Rack, Jonny Lieberman gets behind the wheel of the latest super car from Sant’Agata: the Huracan. Mechanically a short-wheelbase version of the coming soon Audi R8, the Huracan looks to be a blend of classic Lamborghini design motifs, dating all the way back to the Countach and Miura. Speaking of those two, they never even kinda drove 1/10 as good as they looked. No Lambo ever has. Jonny feels that this one might be different, so he enlists the help of his friend, pro driver Randy Pobst, to figure out exactly how good this latest Lamborghini actually is. How good is it? Watch and find out!

Kudos to Lamborghini for sticking with the NA engine. It's amazing how much performance they're getting from the V10!

No doubt the Huracan, much like the 458, will be the last of its kind:(

It's sad that they haven't figured out how to avoid engine overheating issues when tracked (engine shuts down to "limp mode"); I don't believe this is a problem with a Ferrari.
