interesting method of driving a cheap hybrid system. why would they put a bigger gasoline engine in a car when making it a hybrid tho? by the articles calculations an average driver would have to own this car for about 6 years just to save enough money to cover the premium at which it takes to buy a car with the hybrid engine. much beter than the 12 or so years it would take to cover the premium of the civic hybrid.

wow good point huu76 that would have really worked as a true statement if only it had anything to do with what i was talking about.
the point is that it cost like 7 grand more to have a civic hybrid and only 2400 for this one.
its not about the size of the engine. its the price difference to begin with.
