Top Gear Fans Threatening Life Of Jeremy Clarkson Replacement

Some people are having a really tough time imagining “Top Gear” without Jeremy Clarkson. Sue Perkins, a British TV presenter famous for appearing on “The Great British Bake Off,” has received death threats via Twitter after UK bettors made her the favorite to replace the ousted Clarkson. Perkins tweeted about the abuse, with one man saying he’d like to see her burn to death. As you might expect she quit Twitter, telling her followers she was taking a break for a bit.

She's a terrible choice. People liked Clarkson because he had edge, wasn't afraid to say unpopular things, and really loved cars. Perkins is none of those things. It will kill Top Gear if firing Clarkson hasn't already done so.

I would love to see the trio of Clarkson, May and Hammond move to Netflix. Their chemistry cannot be duplicated or replaced. I chuckle and laugh at every episode and love their antics. I hate political correctness run amok. That's what was so refreshing about the UK version, they aren't afraid to poke fun at themselves.

Oh, and I will not watch a replacement team with this woman, or any other cast.
