Toyota Doubles Down In Texas And Files Plan To DOUBLE Plano HQ Size And Add Test Track

It is arguably the most buzzed-about piece of property in North Texas. At just under 100 acres on Legacy Drive at Highway 121, Toyota has started building it's new North American headquarters, where it says roughly 4,000 employees will soon be working.

But many in Collin County are looking for hints on the real hard number.

Clue number one: A revised plan for the main building just submitted to the City of Plano's planning and zoning commission this week.

I live and work near the site in Plano. Toyota is drastically driving up home prices and increasing traffic in the area. But it's also increasing investments in small and chain businesses. Hopefully this will be a good move for them and for the Frisco, Plano, McKinney area.
