Is Formula One In Danger Of Becoming Boring?
Former F1 driver Timo Glock has denounced the pinnacle of motor sport as “boring”.

The 33-year-old German drove for Toyota until 2009, when the Japanese giant suddenly pulled out.

He raced on with Marussia until 2012, but was ultimately a victim of the ever-growing ‘pay driver’ trend.

Glock now races for BMW in the premier German touring car series DTM — a category he says compares favourably with formula one.

I disconnected from mainstream TV seven years ago, and have never looked back. No cable, satellite, or antenna. No commercials. No faux news. I do watch the media I choose on my media system -- TV shows, movies, and podcasts of my own choosing.

So on one hand, you can say I'm not qualified to answer the question. On the other hand, I'm not alone in saying "meh" to regular TV, and Formula 1, and various sports, and various shows, etc.

F1 racing has become too far apart from 'real' driving that so that F1 is now disconnected.

F1 is super boring IMO. Once you are out front there is no looking back. Checkout WEC, now that is excitin!! LMP1 hybrid racers plus slower (but still exciting) classes = more chances to pass and catch up. Last race all three LMP1 hybrid racers - Toyota, Porsche and Audi were at the most 5 secs apart at the end.. and this is after 6 hours. No way F1 could manage that type of excitement.
