SPIED + VIDEO: NEW Clip Shows A Very EXPOSED Mercedes-Benz GLC — Compare It To The Current-Gen GLK
I have to say, if there was one vehicle I was not particularly interested in, it was the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class. While Agent 001 made a strong case for it to me several years ago, I don't know. It just didn't do anything for me.

One thing I can confirm though, it sure was a hit with young professional women. A beautiful lady I dated over a handful of years ago told me that it was her favorite car in Mercedes' product portfolio (aside from the C63 AMG) — she worked for the three-pointed star at the time. Considering how many sluggers the company had in its lineup at the time, it perplexed me.

Now I will be the first to admit. The new photos we keep seeing of the upcoming GLC have caught my attention in a big way. The car appears to have a more rounded off shape, which jives with the rest of the Mercedes design language. Although I don't believe any interior spy shots have been snapped, I am expecting it to outclass the competition a la the C-Class sedan.

In the two images below, check out how the all-new GLC compares when a GLK passes it by. If you check out the rear door windows of each, you'll note that the GLC's looks longer in its proportions. Hopefully this means more legroom for rear seat passengers.

Almost thought I was looking at a Q5 from the side.

I wish they had come out with this sooner. I might have been waiting for this order to arrive than an Audi Q5. Anyway, I like that they've dropped the boxiness and sharp creases.

Ironically, the wildly popular 2015 Audi Q5 is near the end of the line as Audi moves to a more boxy, sharply creased exterior for 2016, as we see in the current (and less popular) Q7.

My wife has had 2 GLK's and she loves it. Its nimble, tight, handles well is fun to drive and easy to park. The boxiness, in a sea of look alike cookie cutter cars set it apart. The new one looks like a Kia.
