SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's All-New C-Class Coupe EXPOSED More Than Ever — Minimal Camouflage Reveals Key Design Features
2014 was a good year for Mercedes-Benz. The three-pointed star launched a slew of products and if my thinking is crystal clear, I am pretty confident not one was a let down. Essentially, the German marque is just knocking them out of the park like it's Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds or Alex Rodriguez participating in the home run derby.

One of its hot sellers is the all-new C-Class. In the New York Tri-State region I can't go anywhere without seeing them everywhere. The launch of the all-new Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan, is just the start.

Now it's time for the coupes and convertibles to shine.

Although we've been tracking the coupe as it undergoes developmental testing, a big milestone happened recently. Much of the camouflage has come off with only the C-Pillar covered up.

From what I am seeing, it's clear that this vehicle is heavily inspired by the S-Class Coupe's sweeping lines. Expect a neatly integrated rear lip that serves as a spoiler and tidy rear taillights a la the S Coupe.

If you were to ask this writer's opinion, it screams classy and elegant. We're looking forward to seeing it completely unwrapped, which we're sure will happen in relatively short order.

Pet Peeve: More silly-looking shaped exhaust tips with their round holes showing when you look into them. What's wrong with designers following cliché after cliché in their executions? Exhaust pipes are ROUND by their very nature. So make them ROUND, make them FAT, let them look like what they are: FU*KING PIPES!

Please calm down. What's wrong if the pipes are round inside those various shapes?
