RENDERED SPECULATION: If You've Been Wondering What's Under The Audi A4's Camo, THIS Is A Pretty Good Picture
In my previous thread you may have noticed that I posted all-new, great photographs of the next-gen Audi A4. Although the vehicle is covered head-to-toe in blacked-out camouflage, I think it's pretty clear how it will look when it is all peeled off.

Essentially, I wouldn't expect much more than a design that's largely inspired by the current-gen A3 with a three-dimensional grille tacked on the front.

Now I know that sounds rather critical, but I am not trying to be. This is simply what I am seeing here. We were told we'd be seeing cutting-edge design and, frankly, we're seeing more of the same from the four rings. I guess we'll have to wait for Marc Lichte's Prologue-inspired cars to hit before we see something revolutionary from Audi.

Until then, check out the latest collection of renderings from abroad. From what I can tell, these are easily the most on point yet.

The exterior follows the rumored evolutionary route that the new model will adopt, featuring aggressive headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and turning signals. There’s also a visualization of what the interior of the range-topping variant could look like that reveals a fully digital instrument cluster with navigation system and a tablet-style center display.

Well, it's good news for those with 4 -7 yr old A4s - your A4 still looks current.

It´s a boring car because it´s sold to a boring market...middle managers and account executives with uneventful lives the last thing they want is a flashy, attention-getting car....from a business point of view this is exactly the car they need

I disagree. I could understand if you were talking about large luxury sedans but not entry-level luxury sedans.

Cars like the CLA have sold well because they have panache...

As much as I think the C Class is ugly as a turd, I probably would take it in a heartbeat over the stale looking 3 Series or the straight-out-of-model-year-2000 "all-new" Audi A4 if I had to choose among the Germans.

The reality is that I'd probably go with a up-spec ATS or Genesis.

How are they able to get away with this year after year?
