Is Honda On The Verge Of Replacing Toyota As Most Embarrassing F1 Effort Ever By A Major Automaker?
McLaren has offered to help works engine partner Honda to end the current crisis before it becomes “embarrassing”.

Team figures have put a brave and united face on the struggles throughout 2015 to date, but Canada was a particularly bad weekend marred by performance, fuel consumption and reliability problems.

Fernando Alonso showed the first signs of frustration during the Montreal race, and also turned to gallows humour as he posted an upside-down photo of the timing screen.

Yes. Especially since Toyota was on their own with chassis and engine.
Honda partnered with McLaren. McLaren is one of the most successful F1 manufacturers in F1 history, but somehow with that Honda mower engine and "superior" Japanese engineering they have created one of the biggest turds in F1 history. Don't forget that they also have one of the best drivers.
Top driver+ top chassis + Honda Turbo engine + Japanese electrical/mechanical engineering = BIG TURD

Honda's latest venture in F1 has been awful, yes. But you say "Honda mower engine and 'superior' Japanese engineering" with such contempt...McLaren isn't the only one with a glorious F1 past...don't forget the 1980s....

This year will be painful for Honda, especially if they want to do everything on their own (I kinda admire that about them as a company), but if they can show some humility and reach out for help from their partner maybe they can squeeze out something this year. If not, 2016 will be the make or break year...

Don't forget 2009. Ross Brawn removed that piece of crap Honda engine dropped a bad boy Mercedes engine and won the F1 championships.
He basically accomplished something that Honda couldn't do for many years in just one off-season with their own car.
That is just hilarious. McLaren should have their head examined for signing with Honda. They will never win another championship. If Ron Dennis is not careful the whole organization will go bankrupt. Honda needs to stick to what they do best. I have all of their products and they are very good mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, etc.
