BMW Plans Hardcore i8 For Later This Year - What Would It Take To Make You Take The Plunge?

A hardcore version of the current BMW i8 is being considered by the German based automaker and this should be out sometimes next year.

The BMW i8 is already one hot ride to own, but what if this would become even hotter? Well, you may say that we are dreaming, but we are not, because thanks to a recent report, we now know that the company is at least considering the development of such a model. According to the guys from AutoExpress, who are quoting sources within the company, the high performance version of the current i8 is expected to be launched sometimes next year, in time to celebrate the carmaker’s centenary.

If they changed the styling completely, I'd be checking it out.
