Nissan Maxima Vs Dodge Charger R/T - Which Is The Best Diva Of The Class?

Nissan Maxima Vs Dodge Charger R/T - Which Is The Best Diva Of The Class?

If SUVs are taking over the market, then how come big sedans are having all the fun?

Trick question, of course. The answer is the two are related. As ute family haulers like the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot and Chevy Traverse have gained our fancy, big sedans are sitting neglected on dealer lots. So brands are turning on the sex appeal to get noticed. Bling-master Chrysler 300C is a middle-class Bentley, the toned Chevy Impala got a Camaro makeover, the Ford Taurus SHO packs more punch than a Mayweather haymaker, the Toyota Avalon hybrid is quiet elegance.

But the class fashion divas are the Nissan Maxima and Dodge Charger R/T.

The Charger is hot looking. The Maxima looks like something the dog vomited onto the carpet. Pretty simple actually.

One is FWD only... The other is RWD or AWD with several engine options. Pretty easy

Can I get a car with the Charger's front and RWD and the Maxima's greenhouse?

Maxima is the true Diva...thinks it is something better (a true sports sedan) than it really is (a FWD economic sedan with a CVT, harsh engine, and awkward design)

Charger is what it is...a 4 door muscle car

Maxima is the diva. You can have her only the way you want her.

You can have a Charger any way you want it:

-V6, sure
-V8, ok
-Beefier V8, done
-Awd, you know it
-Supercharged, got it
-Manual, keepin it old school . . . solid
-with a few miles on her, sure . . . Police wholesale
-Convertible, tried it once, but didn't like it
