At this point, I'd wager that many of you are tired of hearing my lust and love for the McLaren F1. Well, if you don't want to hear more about it, then you should probably just hit the "back" button or "X" out of this window.

Seen lapping the Mid-Ohio circuit is the BMW USA-sponsored McLaren F1 GTR. Decorated with the FINA livery, this is a standard GTR and not the Long Tail. Bill Auberlen, who typically races for BMW in the Tudor Series, is behind the wheel giving it the business.

While I've had the chance to receive hot laps in a variety of cars with a professional driver behind the wheel, I wanted to turn the tables and see what YOU would like to experience. No holds barred in this question.

So, what say you, Spies?

In the meantime, I've embedded the clip of Auberlen doing what he does best with the GTR screaming its heart out. You **may** want to dial up the volume and listen to the V12.

Only one choice, the Porsche LMP1 919 Hybrid.

Is there room for two?

No, a single seat race car just like the McLaren F1 GTR in the photo and video. I have always appreciated the LMP cars. While the F1 cars are faster and corner harder they are used up after a 2 hour race. A LMP is built for 24 hour racing while still having tremendous acceleration and speed with enough down force that they can pass on the outside corners even through heavy slag and still maintain grip. And they still blow by the GTR cars like they are setting still!

Very true comments.

Just one thing, though. The F1 GTR actually seats more than one as BMW USA has given folks hot laps in it.

After today's win with the 919, you better believe it will be a car playing a part of Porsche's history. No major problems and considering it was Porsche's first year back, it's super impressive.
