It's OFFICIAL! Top Gear Trio To Reunite, New Car Show To Be Announced In Weeks!
Since the punch heard around the car world, Top Gear has been on a hiatus, the main presenter — Jeremy Clarkson — was sacked and the other two declined to renew their contracts with the BBC. Oh, and the beeb announced an all-new host for the world's most popular motoring program, Chris Evans.

No, not the super hero guy running around in a neoprene suit.

In recent weeks we've heard rumors about a deal with the U.S.-based online streaming media company, Netflix (NFLX), but nothing has been written in concrete. And, we've also been awaiting official confirmation that the trio would reunite. It seems like a pretty obvious move but until the fat lady sings, nothing is official.

That is until now. Clarkson has officially stated that he, Richard Hammond and Jame May are coming back together to present an all-new motoring show. The official announcement and details will happen in "the next few weeks."

Hmmmm it's like the old white male version of Destiny's Child. This time Beyonce(Jeremy Clarkson) decided not to go solo.

Should be entertaining nonetheless!

Cautious good news. Its great that the presenters are getting back together - their chemistry is second to none.

However, don't forget that the real, huge, behind the scenes factor that make the original Top Gear so much of a success, was the gigantic, generous, and lavish production budgets and support staff that were provided by the BBC. Clarkson et al were the beneficiary of the giant money that BBC spent on them - their personalities can only carry the show so far. Even the governmental airbase where they filmed was only available because the BBC was a quasi-governmental entity.

One of the reasons that US Top Gear sucks so much, is that it is basically low-budget and looks it!

I will be eagerly awaiting the new Netflix series, but I'm not that optimistic.

BBC just got owned. In retrospect it was a totally asinine move to fire Clarkson and lose Top Gear to another producer.
