Cadillac's 2016 XT5 Crossover Caught Uncloaked In New York City - Is THIS A Step In The Right Direction?
No, not XTS, XT5. And it’s a big deal for Cadillac, which is starving for a larger crossover SUV as that segment continues to grow and grow. Opponaut saw390 caught the 2016 XT5 completely undisguised at a photo shoot in Manhattan this morning.

What do we know about the XT5? Not a whole lot at the moment. GM Authority reported that it’s a replacement for the SRX and will use an all-new crossover platform with the familiar 3.6-liter V6, front- and all-wheel drive versions, and probably a hybrid variant.

Hmmm....there's something very Buick about the profile but other than that it's certainly an upgrade from its predecessor.

I find it hot. I really think this will sell like mad.

Fantastic! This is such an improvement over the outgoing model! I do think Cadillac has a winner on its hands this time!

I predict this will be just as successful as the SRX.

Certainly is original, which is hard to find these days. The front is handsome. The side greenhouse seems a bit awkwardly placed, appearing to end too-far forward. Also I don't like the size and shape of the tail lights and the way they almost meet the bottom tip of the greenhouse.

Never been a fan of SUV and CUV and will unlikely buy one but this one looks quite good. I just hope Cadillac doesn't get on a high and price it out of the park. Just think Hyundai and their Sonata 5-6 years ago, great looking car, at a price level noticeably better than their competitor.

I'm digging it!

It Looks - from all angles - as a truly upscale Premium vehicle - instead of looking like a frilled up lower end one.

I suspect GM will have a problem producing enough of them to meet demand

I Think the next couple of years are going to be good ones for GM - with the new Cruze, Malibu, CT6 and now this being obviously better cars.
