SPIED: NEW Spy Shots Of The Next-Gen BMW M5 Emerge — Up CLOSE And Personal Snaps
Over this weekend I ran a story showcasing all-new photographs of the next-gen BMW M5 undergoing testing. While I thought those pics were quite good, if I am honest, they don't have much on the latest images.

These snaps give us some much better angles of the upcoming M5 and although it's wrapped head-to-toe, some details are emerging.

Take, for example its "face," which will prominently display the front kidney grilles that are integrated into the headlights. And, thanks to some great photography work, we're getting an up close look at the wheels/tires, big brake kit and quad-tipped exhaust.

Obviously this vehicle is quite early in its development cycle, but that doesn't mean that little hints aren't starting to emerge. According to the latest word on the street, the next-gen M5 will boost the power and drop about 200 or so pounds.

Steve, open up your eyes and take a closer look. They're not that well disguised.

If you're going to continue to cry like a baby over camouflaged cars, you're going to be crying for a looooooong time.

Although it has pleasing proportions, it looks like another stand-still design. The 7 Series is a failure in that it is an all-new car with some pretty amazing technology, but the look of the car conveys model year 2000 and not 2025 and it should convey the latter.

Of the three Germans, I'd take BMW for styling--generally--because I find Audis to be Camry bland and Mercedes too often veers toward ghetto bling baller or recreational drug sales consultant.

Maybe Marchionne should fast track the Alfa Romeo 5 Series competitor. With Audi and BMW standing still, he could have a shot.
