This is all about greedy lawyers wanting deep-pocket settlements. Yes, it's tragic what happened. Yes, there is criminality on GM's part, but money will in no way "compensate" the loss. Victims like to think it will, but in the end it won't.

I have always question why the recalls are so broad but the compensation fund is limited to so few of the models.
