SPIED! Pope Francis Edition: The Papal Visit Kicks Off In Ecuador With A Badder Set Of Wheels

Although I don't track Pope Francis' whereabouts on a weekly basis, the Agents were surfing the tube tonight when we came across an interesting sight. Pope Francis' latest visit that brings him to his native South America where thousands turned out for his arrival in Ecuador.

While it was quite a spectacle to see, one thing stuck out to us. The holy father has dumped his Hyundai for this South American trip.

Now he's rocking a highly modified Jeep Wrangler. Not only is it equipped with a massive glass enclosure, it also features new LEDs and a special red carpet.

Given that we're Jeep guys, it should come as no surprise that we're digging the switch in vehicles.

Jeep = cash cow subsidiary of FCA (Fiat Chrysler).
Vatican = located in Italy.

Sergio Marchionne and native Italian FCA Management team most are Catholic.

FCA + Pro Italian Lobbying = Pope Francis now has a Jeep. Besides Pope Francis in a Wrangler is a much more populist message than him in a Gelandewagen (as chosen by the prior German Pope Benedict).
