SPIED: The Jaguar F-Type Just Got Even MORE Badass Because SVO Got A Hold Of It
Now if you've been behind the wheel of the Jaguar F-Type, you'd know by now that it's one serious machine. Equipped with over 500 horsepower and, now, all-wheel drive, it's putting down some seriously impressive numbers.

It also doesn't hurt that it sure is pretty to look at.

Turns out that Jaguar Land Rover has decided to up the ante. That's because the company's Special Vehicle Operations division has gotten a hold of it. Last time SVO had a crack at a Jaguar F-Type it spat out the Project 7. So, what's next?

From what we can tell via the first spy images, the F-Type coupe will receive some nice visual updates. Up front it receives a massive front splitter and it appears that the front venting is much larger to get cold air into the engine bay. Around the back is a fixed rear spoiler and what appears to be a proper rear diffuser to channel air. You'll notice the wheel and tire package is fat and the brakes being worn on the test are the carbon ceramics currently offered on the top of the line V8 F-Type R Coupe.

Our friends across the pond are saying that this F-Type will make over 550 ponies with the same output as the Project 7 although rumors have hinted at over 600 horsepower. No word on if the vehicle will receive some lightweight components and weight will be removed from the cabin. Speculation points to yes but that's essentially a guess for the time being.

Yeah, this vehicle is not overpriced. Maybe compared to a Corvette Z06, but then again everything is overpriced relative to that specific product.

The Jaguar F-Type R is a value, if anything. What other sports car has 500+ horsepower and can be had at its price point? AMG GT costs more, as does R8 as does 911 Turbo.

So, where do you get off saying it's overpriced?

The following costs less:
-Nissan GTR (545HP)
-Camaro Z28 (505HP)
-Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 (500+HP)
