SPIED: FIRST Pics Of The All-New Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe — It's Gunning For The BMW X4
So when the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe made its big debut, many people balked. There's good reason for this: it looked like a BMW X6 rip-off.

It doesn't appear that the company is backing down from its sloping roofed sport-utility vehicles, either. That's because snapped for the very first time is the GLC-Class COUPE.

Yes, you read that correctly.

While the all-new GLC has made quite a bit of noise given how damn sharp its design is, it looks like Mercedes is going to flush that down the toilet with the coupe variant.

That's because, like the X4, it too will boast a sloping roof that may or may not be integrated rather clumsily into its body. While we're only seeing this for the first time, the spy shots are rather...interesting?

I introduce you to the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I think this class of vehicle carries the 4-door coupe style much better than the larger size, which looks clunky by comparison. This one will surely be a winner!

I am not so sure if I agree size is the issue. Either way you slice it, the hunched look isn't overtly attractive.

In addition, I have only see one or two X4s in the entire New York Tri-State region. Are they selling elsewhere?

hmmm...It will be interesting to see how Mercedes fares in the SUV Coupe category as they usually know how to make and sell a coupe, wether it be classic 2 door or the 4 door trend.

Unfortunately so far, as Bimmer as found, the SUV coupe does not do much for increasing sales, as much as it gives someone another option whom already came in the showroom for an X3 or X5 but decided to go a less practical route.
