VIDEO: The LAPD Is Calling This Some Of The MOST RECKLESS Driving They've Seen...
Although this may look like something from a Hollywood film, it's not. Unfortunately, this is reality.

A driver on Laurel Canyon Road in Los Angeles was filmed driving backwards in an Audi A5/S5. The crazy thing is that the perp did it not for a short distance. This went on for what people are saying is two miles.

For those of you not familiar with this stretch of road, it is pretty damn windy. If you look closely you'll see the driver strays from his lane several times and is far from a stunt driver.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.

According to the latest reports, the driver's vehicle was equipped with dealer plates and the authorities are tracking them down by contacting the dealership. We're thinking when the LAPD shows up on this individual's door step they're not going to be too happy.

Los Angeles police detectives are searching for the driver of an Audi who was caught on video driving backward through heavy traffic in Laurel Canyon.

The driver has not been identified, but detectives with the LAPD West Traffic Bureau are investigating the incident as reckless driving.

Cellphone video shows an Audi driving backward from Mulholland Drive down Laurel Canyon Boulevard toward Sunset Boulevard.

The person appeared to have quite good control. I'm not saying it wasn't dangerous or illegal, but the number of drivers who could do that would be very few indeed.

It will be interesting to find out if the car was sold and did not yet have plates or if it was on a test drive from an Audi dealer. If it were the latter and I owned the dealer, I'd be going to court to sue for damages.

Alright Audi, I know last month was disappointing for you sales wise, but this is not a way to boost sales of your A4/A5

Cars have had the ability to go backwards for a while now...nice try marketing team, just focus that budget on a better designed Q7 and A4 though!

Easy to do with a back-up camera. No real skill required. The driver is no Stig.
