If Alfa Romeo's New SUV Ends Up Looking Like THIS Would You Add It To Your List Of Must Haves?
After revealing its exciting new Ferrari-powered Giulia sedan last month, Alfa should be hard at work with its upcoming SUV, expected to be launched in late 2016 as the company's next step towards a full-fledged comeback. And while few details have yet to be released regarding any of the SUVs specs, rendering artist Theophilus Chin has just released two images detailing his conceived design for the first Alfa Romeo sport utility. In this case, he has imposed the front grille and fascia of the Giulia on another future SUV model you might find familiar.

No Alphas for me, thanks. I'm not caring for that styling, either.

Hmmm...I feel the same way about this as I do the new Jag SUV, nothing ground breaking or risk taking, just a product in a hot segment, used to expand your customer base and pay some bills

Better late than never I guess

That's just a chop of the F Pace with an Alfa face grafted on.

I'd rather see a Jeep Cherokee used as the base because if Alfa had brains--Marchionne doesn't--the Alfa Romeo Giorgio (why not use the name?) could be rolling off the assembly line in Toledo Ohio as we speak.

Marchionne tied his hands behind his back when he promised the greedy unions that Alfa Romeos and Maseratis will only be made in Italy, so that leaves the Dart/200/Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee architectures off the table.

@cyberlancer - This is Theophilus Chin's personal rendering of Alfa's SUV, but based on the Jaguar F-Pace. The actual SUV will most likely look different.

I like this rendition. Mating Alfa Romeos with ferrari engines will do nothing but project a high level image for the brand. An SUV possibly powered by a Maserati engine will do no less.

see that's the rub. these car makers worrying about heritage & such. key in today's market is "to just have a product out there to compete. match the market leaders at the very least." Learn from that 1st experimental model & then roll out heritage with the next generation. the 1st try is merely the kickstarter campaign to generate profit to fund all the fun future goodies like styling & interior & outstanding performance. See Hyundai & Kia - their 1st little SUVs were gawd-awful ass-ugly....their newest SUVs & minivan are pretty slick & competitive.
